We sustainably harvest almost four million tonnes of wood every year from England and Scotland's public forests. This reduces our dependency on imported wood and provides low-carbon materials, fuel and energy. The income helps offset the costs of managing these forests.

We selected the Forest Stewardship Council® Certification (FSC®) label for all of our timber because it is recognised by more consumers and supported by most environmental groups.
